Dan DeRosa is the Student PIRGs New Voters Project Director and also oversees our campus chapters in North Carolina. In 2016, Dan oversaw NCPIRG’s New Voters Project, which made over 105,000 personalized get-out-the-vote contacts on 12 campuses. He also oversaw the Public Interest Network’s Community Voters Project in North Carolina, which helped to register over 57,000 people to vote in Raleigh, Charlotte, Fayetteville, and the surrounding areas. Previously, Dan was a Field Organizer and Canvass Director with Environment New Jersey. Dan started his civic engagement work with PIRG as a student at Rutgers University in 2009 and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2010.
